How Did My Tempered Glass Get Scratched?

Is that why it scratches so easily?
This is actually the question that people often ask after they discover almost all of the tempered glass on their construction project is scratched.
Honestly, the answer to the deep scratched glass culprit isn’t always so simple. We have seen one construction project where one of the window washers decided to razor scrape all his windows DRY, never wetting the glass! Would that cause glass scratches everywhere? Of course, and we removed all glass scratches from 300 tempered windows and doors on that job!
But other times, the window washers may do everything to the best of their knowledge. However, razor scraping tempered glass during construction cleanup isn’t a great idea, ever.
We’re not detectives and we can never be 100% sure where the glass scratches actually came from or who is to blame.
